Lover’s Jump has been entered in the UK’s biggest short film competition Virgin Media Shorts. It would be amazing to be one of the lucky 12 film makers who get the chance to show their film in cinemas nationwide for a year.

The Angel Moving Image Festival has selected Lover’s Jump to be screened at the Candid Galleries.
The festival celebrates short film and video art made in the London area. Lover’s Jump is in the 4:45pm-6pm slot on Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd October.
The screenings will take place in the Basement Gallery at Candid Galleries, 3, Torrens Street, Islington, London EC1V 1NQ.

Lover’s Jump is a short film directed by Mark McCombe and scripted by Jenny Wong. It is about the tragic effects of losing someone close to you and how those painful feelings can drive someone to extremes.
Peter (Laurence Fuller) is wracked with guilt after the death of his mother. He goes to Lover’s Jump bridge and decides that there is only one way to stop his pain.
After receiving Peter’s ominous phone call, his Aunt Sandra (Holly Clark) rushes to the bridge but can she change his mind before it’s too late?
